Does the Xbox 360 break if you are frequently moving it?
I get afraid every time i touch my 360 fearing it will break. Also another thing, is there anything i can do to cool it after i play besides the intercooler. Is it OK to move the console around when its not plugged in.
as long as you dont flip it upside down than the disc falls out of place and the disc could be damaged. the console will be fine but not the disc sometimes
Don’t worry about moving it while it is off…but if you move it while it is on, say you take it from horizontal to vertical or vice versa, the disc will be ruined.
as long as you take the games out of it before moving it it should be fine! just keep the console in an open area so it can breathe!
I read an article that Microsoft is now speculating that a lot of the internal problems are occurring when things are being jarred loose because of console being moved around too much. We use to take ours with us everywhere and we have had to send our consoles in 4 different times, so maybe ???
We don’t move it around so much now.
As for the inter cooler, they cause more problems than they help(lagging, freezing up,and worse) Microsoft advises not to use them and it could void your warranty if they knew that you used one.
Advise… Keep your console horizontal, using it vertically has been known to damage discs and it cause the system to work harder. If you have to move it make sure it is off and if it is being moved to far put it back in the box to move it with the Styrofoam to help absorb any shock. Don’t put it in an enclosed space, like an entertainment system, give it plenty of space to “breathe”, and dust it regularly so that accumulation won’t get sucked in to the system.
