Whats Wrong With My Xbox 360 Cooling Fan?
You know on the back on your xbox 360 how in the system you can see a fan that is suppost to cool the system as you play it. Well just yesterday I turned my 360 on and the fan, not the disc drive, started making this wierd griding/loud noise. So I shut off my system and tapped on the top (gently) and turned the system back on. The noise had stopped, now today I turned it on and the noise came back, so I shut off the system, tapped the top again (gently) and turned it back on, the noise is gone. I’m worried that this might be a big problem, is it? How do I fix it perminately, and without sending to Microsoft?
Okay cool.
I have the same problem and it has been there since I got it, it really makes me mad, and I hope it doesn’t kill my xbox. I can’t find an answer anywhere either, so this is kind of a big question on my mind to. Don’t worry to much, mine has been making that sound for like 2 months and it hasn’t died, it works pretty good.
Actually, all the fans are loud. It isn’t broke, it’s just annoying.
They are really quite pointless unless you play for long periods of time anyway so don’t worry about leaving it hooked up.
